WHERE THERE’S SMOKE is a deliberately-small gathering for wedding photographers who want to break away from the usual.
For four days in Glenorchy, surrounded by mountains and the shores of Lake Wakatipu, we’re bringing together photographers from across the country (and around the world) to learn, experiment, collaborate and connect.
Expect camp vibes, good conversations with people whose work we admire, getting our hands dirty with film, and a healthy amount of sitting around fires talking shit. Some practical workshop sessions, a styled shoot or two, and convos with our overseas compatriots will fill the blanks in between.
